I wasn’t able to find instructions on the internet, but does the BDE exhaust half moon plug require sealant? When I tried to put the absolute smallest wipe of sealant on the circular portion, the flat surface was ever so slightly raised from the head flat surface. I can catch my fingernail on the flat surface. I see that the manual says to use liquid gasket for the rubber half moon. The BDE sits more flush without any gasket.
